1 Peter 5:4 says, there awaits a crown,
I know that one I will receive,
Proverbs 15:15 promises joy and laughter,
If only I believe.

I'll use my pencil to write a note,
Of all my blessings day by day.
Psalm 45:1 tells me to write it down,
And never stop to pray

In a little bottle my tears are stored,
Revelations 21:4 says God will dry them all.
Psalm 58:9 says He knows me O so well
Whether I come or go, or stand or fall.

A hankie 2 Corinthians 1:4 tell me I will need,
A teardrop of a friend to dry today
In Ps 147:3 I read God heals the broken heart,
And takes all the pain away.

The little bit of salt from Matthew 5:13,
I'll carry in my bag to sprinkle on the words I say
A birthday candle to spread my light
In Matthews 54:16 I'm reminded every day.

A drawing pin I'll also keep
And I'll remember what Jesus said in Luke 12:22:
Don't sit upon your problem little one,
Your Heavenly Father watches over you

A little stone reminds me of the Solid Rock,
Ps 18:2 teaches that He's my Rock and Tower.
The Rock that never trembles under me,
Though I tremble on the Rock, He keeps me by His power.

A little pearl within my bag,
Reminds me of Proverbs 31:10 every day,
A virtuous women, mother and wife,
Is far more precious than pearls the Bible say.

A nail I keep within my bag
Ever to remember Calvary
A small piece of eraser to remind me
Jesus with His blood erased my sins, set me free!

Matthew 27:33 and Isaiah 1:18

Hebrews 4:12
Like a piece of sponge drinks up the water -
So God's Word, my thoughts will fill.
It will penetrate my spirit, mind and soul,
My thirst and longing it will still.

So open-up my little gift-bag,
Unpack the items one by one.
And you will be so amazed
To see what Christ has done!
